Now for some good news

-

Cancer death rates in Australia have fallen since the 1980s, according to a report from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. Although 134,000 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in Australia in 2017, the death rate has fallen from 209 per 100,000 in 1982 to 161 per 100,000 this year. This drop is mostly in male cancer patients, largely due to a decline in prostate cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer for men.
