Even little royals have first-day nerves

Like parents everywhere, Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark might have shed a tear as they waved their six-year-old twins goodbye on their first day of school. Princess Josephine was all smiles, but Prince Vincent seemed a little unsure about being put in a class without his sister at Tranegård School in Copenhagen. Mary and Frederik are the first Danish royal couple to send their brood to a public school. Just days later, there was more excitement as the family joined Prince Henrik and Queen Margrethe to welcome the royal dachshund Tillia’s eight adorable puppies.
