Roast­ing nuts brings out the flavour. There are two ways to roast them. Spread nuts onto an oven tray; roast in a 180°C (160°C fan-forced) oven for 5 min­utes or un­til nuts are golden brown. Or place the nuts in a heavy- based fry­ing pan; stir nuts con­stantly over medium-high heat un­til they are browned evenly.
