Main­tain a healthy diet

Ron says he achieves this by not eat­ing junk food. He also goes veg­e­tar­ian two to three days a week, “and I have three al­co­hol-free days ev­ery week.”

Keep fit and ac­tive

Fit­ness should be things you en­joy. Ron stays fit by walk­ing and salsa danc­ing. “When I was 11, my cousin taught me to jive. A cou­ple of years later, my aunty taught me rock and roll. I’ve been danc­ing for 62 years and lov­ing it.”

Live your BOLD­EST life by do­ing things you love and are mean­ing­ful to you

“I love mu­sic, dance, art, good friends and good food,” says Ron. “I try to be the best per­son I can. I never deny who I am – what you see is what you get."

Take pride in your ap­pear­ance

Ron’s ad­vice is dress to im­press. “You should al­ways take pride in how you look. Just be­cause you’re ma­ture doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish. So get with it! It’s ex­cit­ing to get dressed up. Don’t be dowdy, it just makes you look and feel old.”
