Still Point Turn­ing chron­i­cles the tran­si­tion of in­trigu­ing pub­lic fig­ure Cather­ine McGre­gor from be­ing male and work­ing in pro­fes­sions full of machismo, to fe­male. The role of Cather­ine will be played by three ac­tors: trans ac­tor An­drew Guy, who plays young Mal­colm; Ash­ley Lyons, who plays Cather­ine be­fore tran­si­tion; and Heather Mitchell, who plays Cather­ine of the present day.
