New Lions lead looms

BRISBANE will complete the final piece of its new era leadership today when they vote in a new captain. Lions players will vote on their preferred leaders in a secret ballot tonight. Although the player vote carries great weight, the highest vote winner will not necessarily be the next captain.

Instead, a shortlist of the top vote getters will then be vetted by a committee that includes key football staff.
