Cairns Saints 187cm 26-01-1998 78kg Round 1 2017 Bowes is the first Suns Acad- emy player taken by the club in the AFL National Draft from their junior program. The high- ly skilled on-baller is known for his agility, composure and de- cision-making.

SEASON 2017 Great year:

Bowes becomes a regular Sun and wins the NAB AFL Rising Star Award as the Suns play finals for the first time.

Good year:

Bowes plays about half the season in the senior sides as well as a few games in the NEAFL to play more mid- field minutes.

He played 21 games and finished second in the best and fairest in 2016 so going one better and claiming the highest honour at the Suns this season.

Good year:

Goes about his job quietly down back as the footy is at the other end much of the season.
