On state election

The Cairns Post - - VIEWS -

The so-called two major parties in the upcoming election keep promising millions of dollars for jobs, health, renewable power etc over the next 10 years. In North Queensland what we need now is control of youth crime, crocodile management, insurance relief and fuel and power price regulation. One Nation and KAP are offering this, using existing resources now, not pie-in-the-sky promises over 10 years. Viv, Earlville Tim Nicholls. Queenslanders don’t want a cut to wholesale electricity prices, we need a cut to retail prices. There is a great difference for Mr and Mrs Average in this state. Toby, Edge Hill
