4WD track reopens

THE popular CREB Track, which starts just north of Daintree Village, has reopened. The 71km track was closed earlier this week following wet weather and a traffic incident. It is regarded as one of Australia’s most spectacular and challenging fourwheel-drive trails. Motorists are urged to check weather conditions before attempting to drive the track and ensure vehicles are well-equipped with supplies and self-recovery equipment.
