Jazz performance

PETER Uppman, one of Australia’s foremost trumpeters, will perform as part of a group this Friday at the North Toowoomba Bowl’s Club.

The group will be rounded out by reed player Paul Hendon and drummer Bill White. Most of the music presented will be tunes from the traditional jazz era.

Meals will be available from 6pm to 7.15pm and the gig begins at 7.45pm. Admission is $15 for visitors and $20 for members.
