Special 50th celebration for couple

TOOWOOMBA couple Lisa and Peter Lee couldn’t have wished for a better way to mark their 50th birthdays.

Mrs Lee, who is a business partner at Classic Recruitment and Human Resources, celebrated her birthday yesterday , while her husband, who looks after the Hutchinson Builders office in Darwin, will celebrate his in June.

The couple held a party at Inbound on April 22 and marked the occasion with about 135 family and friends, some of whom travelled from Wellington in New South Wales, Canberra and Townsville.

“It was just fabulous,” Mrs Lee said.

“Inbound did an amazing job.”

She thanked her 17-year-old son Josh, who did a lovely speech, and her 22-year-old son Alex, who was an impromptu photographer.
