I WOULD like to give special thanks to the farming community and supporters whose dedication and courage contributed to the land court proceedings.

From December 2015 until May 2017, they fought for our children and grandchildren to preserve the arable earth and water resources of the Darling Downs.

So many people live just for the present but we must preserve these two vital life supports, our rich farming soil and our unpolluted water for the farmers and their livestock, for now and the future.

These people are not anti-coal mining and anti-jobs, they encourage coal mining in the poor soil areas.

People of Toowoomba and this whole area; these people have done a magnificent service to you and your children and grandchildren. Bless and thank them. — ELISABETH EZZY, North Toowoomba
