Christ­mas tours raise funds for ice fight

THE Aus­tralian Anti Ice Cam­paign has part­nered with Ston­estreet Coaches to of­fer a Christ­mas Lights Bus Tour around the streets of Toowoomba this festive sea­son.

The tour will visit prize-win­ning homes and the festive Christ­mas dis­plays the Toowoomba re­gion has to of­fer.

Fundrais­ing from the event will raise much-needed funds for the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s ed­u­ca­tion, train­ing, and fam­ily sup­port pro­grams.

Aus­tralian Anti Ice Cam­paign area co­or­di­na­tor for the Dar­ling Downs Natha­nial Leigh said the or­gan­i­sa­tion was rais­ing funds with the aim of de­liv­er­ing in school ed­u­ca­tion and com­mu­nity fo­rums on the dan­gers of ice in the Toowoomba area.

The tour lasts three hours and will run on the De­cem­ber 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22.

Tick­ets are $25 per per­son, plus an on­line book­ing fee.
