Weinstein cops slap in the face
DISGRACED film producer Harvey Weinstein was the subject of an alleged attack while having dinner with his sobriety coach.
A video published by celebrity news website TMZ shows Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of women, being slapped in the face by a man at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The man also reportedly told the producer: “You’re such a piece of s--- for what you did to these women.”
The man, Steve, told TMZ that when he earlier asked for a photo, Weinstein became “belligerent” and told him to get lost.
However, an unnamed restaurant manager told the website that Weinstein actually said, “I’d rather not take a picture right now.”
Steve, who admitted to TMZ he’d had “quite a bit to drink”, said he told his friend to turn on the video on his camera as Weinstein and his sobriety coach got up to leave at 9pm.
The video shows Steve slapping Weinstein twice before someone intervenes, pushing Steve away and saying “Don’t do that man”.
Weinstein declined to press charges and left the restaurant quietly.
