A SPECIAL Truckie Toolbox will take place in Gatton on Friday. Transport and Main Roads Acting Director-General Mike Stapleton said the talks would help foster a safer road network across Queensland.

“Our transport inspectors are setting up temporary facilities at the Gatton Bypass rest area, on the Warrego Highway from 10am to 5pm this Friday for drivers and operators to stop in,” Mr Stapleton said.

“These Toolbox Talks are a great education-only opportunity for truckies, enabling them to speak with transport inspectors about several operational topics, including load restraints, mass limits and accreditations.”
