Poll push to allow vaping

The Chronicle - - National News -

WORKING-CLASS voters want e-cigarettes legalised to help them kick their smoking habits. A ReachTel poll shows more than two-in-three voters in the western Sydney seat of Lindsay support the legalisation of nicotine “vaping”.

Legalise Vaping Australia campaign director Brian Marlow said the results of the poll show the issue was a vote changer in key electorates.

Currently it’s illegal to sell nicotine containing liquid for e-cigarettes in Australia.

Earlier this year NSW Parliament passed legislation banning vaping from the same spaces where people were not allowed to smoke cigarettes.
