Clear skies and a warm winter’s day greeted riders for Cobram and District Pony Club’s annual Showjumping and Dressage Day on June 18 at the Muckatah Recreation Reserve.
Riders came from as far as Swan Hill, Wodonga, Seymour, Deniliquin, Wangaratta, Rochester, Lurg, Benalla, Chiltern and Hay as well as from the local Numurkah, Yarrawonga Tocumwal, Jerilderie and Cobram areas.
‘‘We had fantastic weather, and 90 entries in all the disciplines,’’ Cobram and District Pony Club president Barb Clarke said.
‘‘The Cobram and District Pony Club was complimented on its fantastic grounds and how great they looked.
‘‘The hard work by the club and other volunteer helpers has been amazing; freshly painted jumps and new sand areas stood out to everyone.

Cobram and District Pony Club was first founded in 1961.
