Viet­nam veter­ans ap­pre­ci­ate lo­cal sup­port

Thank you for the great cov­er­age you gave the Viet­nam veter­ans in the re­cent edition of the Courier.

I would like to men­tion how much we ap­pre­ci­ate the full sup­port from our lo­cal com­mu­nity — it doesn’t mat­ter if it’s An­zac Day or all other com­mem­o­ra­tions through­out our cal­en­dar year.

For Viet­nam Veter­ans’ Day on Au­gust 18, we raised more than $950 over two days, a very good re­sponse.

A very spe­cial com­mu­nity.

I would also like to men­tion the very poor cov­er­age from all our city me­dia; they could learn to take a very hard look at them­selves, and look a bit fur­ther at all the re­gional news out­lets.
