Ceme­tery his­tor­i­cal walk

Co­bram Ceme­tery Trust will host a his­tor­i­cal walk at the Co­bram Pub­lic Ceme­tery in early Novem­ber, with a theme of ‘Ital­ian In­flu­ence’. If you would like to in­clude your fam­ily, the trust will need a short story of your loved one’s life in­clud­ing in­for­ma­tion about birth­date, when they came to Aus­tralia, oc­cu­pa­tions, where they lived and about their fam­i­lies. Gift box work­shop

On Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 13 learn how to make gift boxes and gift bags from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at Co­bram Li­brary. All equip­ment and pa­per will be sup­plied. Ev­ery­one is wel­come.

Lit­tle Gum­nuts Play­group

Co­bram Unit­ing Church Lit­tle Gum­nuts Play­group and Cof­fee Morn­ing is held ev­ery sec­ond Thurs­day from 10 am to 11.30 am. Bring along your pre-school­ers for a so­cial morn­ing of fun and ac­tiv­i­ties as well as a friendly chat and cuppa for adults. Unit­ing Church con­cert

Co­bram Unit­ing Church will hold a con­cert at Irvin Hall, Hay Ave, Co­bram at 2 pm on Sun­day, Septem­ber 17. En­try is $10 and ev­ery­one is wel­come. The con­cert will fea­ture lo­cal and visit­ing artists and in­cludes af­ter­noon tea.

Lit­tle Aths needs helpers

Ba­rooga Lit­tle Ath­let­ics needs vol­un­teers. If you are keen or have been an ath­lete in the past, the club would love to see you at the Ba­rooga oval for the up­com­ing ath­let­ics sea­son. It will be on Mon­days at 4.45 pm from Oc­to­ber 9. There will be two come-and-try nights, on Mon­day, Septem­ber 11 and 18. Share your ex­per­tise with chil­dren aged five to 16. Wed­nes­day bad­minton has re­sumed at the Unit­ing Church Hall in Co­bram from 9.30 am to noon. All wel­come.

Quilt­ing club

The Co­bram Quil­ters meet at Co­bram Com­mu­nity House on the sec­ond Fri­day of ev­ery month from 9.30 am to 4 pm for so­cial sewing. All wel­come to join in for the whole day or part of it. Any­one new to patch­work can ask for help, and cur­rent mem­bers will be glad to share their ex­pe­ri­ence. The club also meets on the fourth Sun­day of ev­ery month at Yar­roweyah Hall.

‘Crafter­noon’ tea

Thurs­days from 1 pm to 3 pm at Co­bram Com­mu­nity House. Cro­chet, colour or craft with con­ver­sa­tion and a cuppa. Par­tic­i­pa­tion is by gold coin do­na­tion.

Cy­ber for se­niors

At Co­bram Com­mu­nity House on Fri­days from 1 pm to 3 pm. De­velop your mo­bile de­vice and lap­top skills at these so­cial and friendly af­ter­noon ses­sions. Par­tic­i­pa­tion is by gold coin do­na­tion.

So­cial danc­ing
