Trade day was at Finley RSC where a full field contested the day.
Winners with 4 wins and 69 points were Rod Amear, Kerian Beare and D. Ivanoff. Second with 4 wins and 67 points were the combination from Yarrawonga of Kerry Kernane, R Liverwood and P. Liverwood. Third also with 4 wins and 66 points were Geoff Mitchell, Ray Emerson and Peter Russell.
Best second game wasn’t paid, however, best third game winners were Bob Adams, Peter Velardo and John Ellis and best fourth game winners were Ray Nye, Len Magee and George Lockman.
The jackpot did not go off so continues to this week at Numurkah Golf.
Keith’s Friday jackpot did go off. Jill Toohey and visitor Tim McCarthy won $16 between them when their results for the day equalled the number drawn out. Congratulations to them and the jackpot this week reverts to $66.
Winners of the day were Des Toohey and Kevin Kennedy with +18 closely followed by Jim Escott and Ron Quinn with +17.
Best first game winners were Bob Bamford and Faye Neale with +13 and best second game went to Helen Quinn and Fred Pinnuck with +7

The first of the 60 and Over Southern Group tournaments was played at Nathalia last week with Cobram teams to the fore.
Alan Vinecombe, Glen Murphy, Dave Hutchins and Neville Ingram were winners on 49 points over Keith Faulkner, Alan Temple, Ken Shields and Barry Turner on 45 points.
The next day is on Monday, October 9 at Cobram.
The McDonald Family Sponsored Mixed Triples tournament attracted 18 teams with Alan McDonald, Marj McDonald and Geof Bowen — as the only three game winners — being declared successful over George Mynard, Don Collie and Dave Hutchins with 21⁄2 games.
Val Quinane was the lucky member who tipped Richmond to win by 42 points.
Appreciation is extended to the McDonald family for their continued sponsorship of the event.
Pennant practice days are being played next Friday at 10 am and Saturday at 1 pm.
All players are urged to submit their names to enable the selectors to name teams for the first rounds which commence on October 13 and 14.
The final Saturday pennant practice will be held on Wednesday, October 11 at 4.30 pm followed by an information and pie night at 6 pm.
The Friday members’ draw sponsored by Cobram BP has jackpotted to $200, which means that draws will be conducted between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm to select a winner who must be in attendance to claim the prize.
