Boots scootin’ down at Barooga
IF YOU have only seen them once, you haven’t seen them enough.
These baby boot scooters were in the Courier recently - but without their names.
So they’re back and Barooga Public School is proud to present (or re-present) its country and western theme day.
Organised by the Student Representative Council, the event saw students dress up in their best wild west attire.
It served as one of the many fundraisers conducted by the SRC to raise money for the school.
Principal John Francis said students had a fantastic time line dancing and playing a variety of games.
‘‘It was extremely well organised by SRC co-ordinator Gwen Hyde and the rest of the team,’’ Mr Francis said.
Check it out: Gracie Baron, Ebony Kernaghan, Kaitlin Dunn (back), Talia Baron and Ruby Berry shared the same wardrobe when they hit the dance floor.
Yee ha: Laura Hamilton-Watts, Emily Styles, Talia Baron, Jesica Edwards, Casey Chandler (back) and Elleah Baxter-Jukes enjoyed some boot scootin’ at the golf club.
Wild west: Cowboy Jayden Dempster at the Barooga Public School night.
