Year 12 stu­dents got to­gether one last time to rem­i­nisce about the good old times be­fore go­ing off to bat­tle the

dreaded VCE ex­ams. Co­bram Sec­ondary Col­lege, Co­bram Angli­can Gram­mar and St Mary’s Nathalia all held cel­e­bra­tions for their out­go­ing

Year 12 stu­dents, who are plan­ning their fu­tures. Some will go to univer­sity, some will go to TAFE and oth­ers

will en­ter the work­force. The Courier spoke to some of the stu­dents to learn about their plans for the fu­ture. how re­laxed I am about it,’’ he said.

When this is all over Pa­trick wants to study science and engi­neer­ing at Monash Univer­sity.

‘‘Since Year 8 I wanted to do engi­neer­ing. I just love the science as well as the prac­ti­cal­ity of engi­neer­ing and its real-world ap­pli­ca­tions,’’ he said.

‘‘It’s made it easy for me to fo­cus on what I want to do. Pick­ing my sub­jects has never been an is­sue for me. I’ve al­ways known what I want to do, so it helps me man­age my stress lev­els.’’

When Pa­trick grad­u­ates from high school his first plan is to cel­e­brate with his friends and teach­ers.

‘‘Ev­ery day I loved com­ing to school,’’ he said.
