Ready to take on the world
Year 12 students got together one last time to reminisce about the good old times before going off to battle the
dreaded VCE exams. Cobram Secondary College, Cobram Anglican Grammar and St Mary’s Nathalia all held celebrations for their outgoing
Year 12 students, who are planning their futures. Some will go to university, some will go to TAFE and others
will enter the workforce. The Courier spoke to some of the students to learn about their plans for the future. how relaxed I am about it,’’ he said.
When this is all over Patrick wants to study science and engineering at Monash University.
‘‘Since Year 8 I wanted to do engineering. I just love the science as well as the practicality of engineering and its real-world applications,’’ he said.
‘‘It’s made it easy for me to focus on what I want to do. Picking my subjects has never been an issue for me. I’ve always known what I want to do, so it helps me manage my stress levels.’’
When Patrick graduates from high school his first plan is to celebrate with his friends and teachers.
‘‘Every day I loved coming to school,’’ he said.
