The Cobram Courier - - NEWS -

Local vintage cars were admired from every angle when the Vintage Classic Car Club of Ballarat came to town.

The club members stopped to admire the cars of local car enthusiast John Anderson, who gave them a whirlwind tour of his beloved collection.

Mr Anderson explained the history and heritage of each car in his collection, which he had been accruing over a lifetime.

‘‘I have been involved with it all my working life,’’ he said.

‘‘Every car I’ve got here has a story to it.’’

The club from Ballarat has more than 800 cars, but Mr Anderson’s collection still managed to impress, according to club member Paul Tracy.

‘‘It’s a magic collection,’’ he said.

‘‘Each car here has such a personal story and some of those stories go back to the First World War.

‘‘It’s a privilege to have John show us around.’’
