Tocumwal v Berrigan Division one travelled to Berrigan for their round seven clash.

Tocumwal won the toss and sent the home team in to bat.

Tocumwal’s strong bowling line-up soon saw Berrigan with its back against the wall, bowling it out in the 23rd over for 35 runs.

Robbie Owen took 5-7 off 3.5 overs and Andy Arthurs claimed 3-5 off six.

Tocumwal decided to change up the batting order a little but again it was Michael Roberts who took batting honours with 39, while Ranji Oliver made 14 and Darren White reached eight.

The Bloods retired on 70 and sent Berrigan in to bat again.

Zac Taylor Nugent put on quite a batting display for Berrigan, ending his second innings on an entertaining 58 — a highlight being four consecutive sixes in his last over.

But Keith Stephens took four wickets and Robbie Owen took another three to see Berrigan out in the 17th over.

Double act: Tocumwal’s brother and sister combination Michael and Christina Roberts leave the crease after batting together.

Slip-slidin’: Tocumwal’s Liam Sutton collects the ball to return it to the keeper.
