BAROOGA SPORTS

During the week Medley pairs was played but unfortunately details are not to hand.

Keith’s Friday was a wet, cold day so was called off before a bowl was bowled in anger so no details to advise there.

The women’s appreciation day was held last Saturday and a nice meal was served up by the men to a small but appreciative crowd.

As well as the meal a few party games were played and a fun time was had by all those that attended.

On Sunday the first of the Sunday social days was held where bowlers played three-bowl pairs and 20 people attended for a relaxing social day.

These days will be held each Sunday at 1 pm from now on, so get your names in on the sheet on the notice board and come down and enjoy a game of bowls over the winter months.

Winners of the first day were Jon Nash and Arthur Lewis who took the major prize, but all winners took home a chook.
