Choir per­forms at Co­bram Com­mu­nity House

Co­bram Se­nior Cit­i­zens choir at­tended Co­bram Com­mu­nity House’s monthly lunch, singing and sway­ing along to a num­ber of clas­sics on Fri­day.

With the Vic­to­rian Se­niors Fes­ti­val start­ing on Mon­day af­ter­noon, it was only fit­ting the com­mu­nity house de­cided to bring in the choir to pro­vide some A-class en­ter­tain­ment.

A se­lec­tion of hits, in­clud­ing Do-Re-Mi, On the Streets Where you Live, When the Rain Tum­bles Down in July and Get Me to the Church On Time were en­joyed by the vi­brant crowd.

The choir meets at the se­nior cit­i­zens hall on Mon­days at 1.30 pm. New mem­bers wel­come.

Be­fore the choir was in full voice, guests en­joyed slow cooked sausage casse­role and parsnip soup, pre­pared by com- mu­nity house kitchen staff.
