Showtime in Numurkah

The Cobram Courier - - NEWS -

The weather smiled on Numurkah Show on Wednesday, bringing out the crowds and exhibitor entries.

Numurkah Show Society secretary Sue Aldridge said it was a beautiful spring day resulting in a successful event.

Entries were up in the beef cattle show, strong competition was displayed in the dog show and there was great interest in the garden and floral exhibition.

Photography entries lined one wall of the pavilion.

Some equestrian classes were down in numbers and a change in format for the dairy section saw a bigger range, but limited competition.

‘‘We were very pleased with the overall results,’’ Ms Aldridge said.

Clowning around: Bryan Hansen, 8, from Katunga enjoyed the day.
