Thanks to the business houses in Cobram and Barooga for their generous support. A successful day with $8500 raised for the Cobram hospital.

Players had the choice of buying mulligans (get out of trouble chit). Monies raised for this went to the stroke foundation.
Lorraine Fox won A-grade with 39 points, ahead of Helen Barclay with 37 points.
B-grade winner was Sue Herbison with 37 points and Jenny Gould was runner-up with 37 points on countback.
Nearest the pins were won by Liz Jewell and Helen Barclay. Denise Harrison the second shot sixth.
Balls down-the-line and pro balls went to 33 points on a countback.
Wednesday supervets, saw Peter Buller win with a nett 36.
Balls were given to 39 nett, won by Don Dodd, Norm Elliott, Peter Spalding and John Dobbie. Graeme Landy won nearest the pin. Graeme also won Giuliana’s prize.
Next week is on the west course back nine at 8.30 am.
Thursday, old course, stableford, 76 players, two grades.
A-grade was won by Matt Geisler with 43 points. David Lewis the B-grade winner with 40 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Ross Lacy, Barry Kennedy, Lyle (ABC) Herrick and Graham Kerr.
Balls down-the-line: four to 40 points, three to 39, two to 38 and one to 37 on a countback.
Women: Edna Wisniewski with 37 points. Nearest the pin: Steffi Vogel. Two balls to 36 and one ball to 34 points.

A-grade winner was Peter Bond with 38 points, while ever consistent Sam Condy took out B-grade with his 39 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Simon Crimeen, Arnie Manual, Rod Thorpe and Brian Eddy. Brian choose the right hole the eighth to win the pro pin.
Balls down-the-line: four to 38, three to 37, two to 35 and one to 33 points.
Women’s winner Maxine Sadler scored 34 points on a countback.
Jan Curran won nearest the pin on the 12th hole.
Two balls to 34 points, and one ball to 31 points won by visiting golfers.

Dennis Staff proved practice makes perfect, winning the day with his 41 points. Mark Jaensch scored 40 points to be runner-up.
Carolyn Huggins is still a winning streak scoring 38 points (watch that handicap coming down). Balls went to 33 points.

A-grade was won by Ron Smith with a nett 37 on countback. Wayne Magee won B-grade with nett 35.
Balls went to a nett 43. Peter Barrie, Tim Nolan, Ryan Medcraft, John Dobbie, Ryan McDiarmid, Max Harrison, Roy Hart and Bruce Haley.
Nearest the pins were won by Ron Smith and Peter Barrie.
Ryan Medcraft had the longest drive and the NAGA was handed to Norm Elliott.
