Will your super cover your retirement?

The Coffs Coast Advocate - - NEWS -

I AM nearly 62, having accessed my superannuation after a car accident caused by (another driver).

I work casual and dislike our government’s mandatory law, forcing employers to make deposits into a super fund so that money-hungry fund managers can assert their myriad of fees, thus leaving the employee with very little of what’s deposited.

It might as well be thrown into a garbage bin. Also try reporting your earnings to Centrelink who have recently massively downsized their staff numbers right across Australia.

Centrelink should actually provide a call back system instead of trying to maximise frustration by being on hold for an hour or sitting in a Centrelink office.

I suppose there are much more important issues for our government to be dealing with like gay marriage and wind farms. — Peter Williamson
