What: Learn about the Glen­reagh Moun­tain Rail­way, browse through rail­way mem­o­ra­bilia, draw­ings, fi­bre art and mem­bers’ paint­ings while en­joy­ing food and drinks at the art ex­hi­bi­tion.

CROSSFIT WOOL­GO­OLGA BOOBS AND BALLS FUNDRAISER

What: Show your sup­port and raise funds for the McGrath Foun­da­tion and the Prostate Can­cer Foun­da­tion of Aus­tralia by at­tend­ing a fun day at the Crossfit box.

What: Make your way down to the tem­po­rary lo­ca­tion for an au­then­tic out­door mar­ket ex­pe­ri­ence as you browse through stalls, lis­ten to live mu­sic and watch per­form­ers.

HEADSPACE DAY IN THE PARK

What: En­joy a free bar­be­cue, live mu­sic, per­for­mances, stand up pad­dle board­ing, kayak­ing, sports and other fun ac­tiv­i­ties as peo­ple learn the im­por­tance of tak­ing care of their men­tal health is­sues be­fore they be­come se­ri­ous. Where: Boam­bee Creek Re­serve, Sawtell Rd. When: Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 9 from 10am to 3pm.

WOOL­GO­OLGA DIS­TRICT ORCHID SO­CI­ETY’S AN­NUAL SPRING ORCHID SHOW AND GAR­DEN EXPO

What: Take in the aro­mas and beauty of or­chids on dis­play as grow­ers put their grow­ing skills to the test. Around 300 orchid plants will be on show, featuring a di­verse va­ri­ety of classes and species. Steve Bigg’s new method of grow­ing ve­g­ies and flow­ers will also be on dis­play.

Where: Yates Hall, Wool­go­olga Public School.

When: Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 7 from 9.30am.
