A LACKLUSTRE third quarter in Hawkesbury has cost Coffs Harbour’s men’s basketball team the chance of taking its first win of the season.

After a disastrous Saturday night where the Suns were never in the hunt against St George, they came out firing in the second match of their road double header and led Hawkesbury by five points at half time. The Jets outscored the Suns 28-16 in the third term.

The Suns fought back in the last quarter and scores were level with 30 seconds remaining, but it was to no avail.
