THE Jetty The­atre was buzzing on Thurs­day night for the open­ing of Lords and Ladies, the lat­est lo­cal pro­duc­tion be­ing staged by CHATS and di­rected by Beck­ley Vin­cent.

Ac­claimed au­thor Terry Pratch­ett’s beloved char­ac­ters were brought to the stage with au­then­tic­ity and aplomb.

This tal­ented cast of lo­cal faces han­dle the quick, witty di­a­logue and speedy scene changes with ease de­liv­er­ing a pro­fes­sional and thor­oughly en­ter­tain­ing per­for­mance.

Fans of the Dis­c­world se­ries of books are sure to be de­lighted with this stage in­ter­pre­ta­tion and, if you’ve never read a page of Pratch­ett don’t worry, each story weaves its own mag­i­cal spell and as it un­folds takes au­di­ences on a jour­ney.
