The Coffs Coast Advocate - - YOUR SAY -

IT MAY be of interest to council to know that on the Central Coast, under the previous Gosford Council and continued under the amalgamation with Wyong Council, there is a perfectly managed kerb side collection scheme.

All that is required is a phone call to book the collection, and then the following applies:

“Place items out the day before your collection day. Placing your items out as late as possible limits the chance of your pile being added to. Each household is entitled to have up to 12m3 collected each year through a maximum of six free household or vegetation collections.”

I have used this service a number of times in recent years and can totally recommend it. Why can’t we have a similar system here? Peter Kitching
