Whitsundays entice buyers
ONLY a handful of home sites remain for sale in the current stage of the $750 million Whitsunday Shores coastal development in Bowen, North Queensland.
Developer Aspen Whitsunday Shores has priced its last 18 lots in the Hayman land precinct at an affordable $147,000 while also offering house and land packages from an economical $393,000.
Aspen Living chief executive Chris Lewis said buyer interest in the Bowen region had ignited following recent announcements regarding major mining and infrastructure projects including Clive Palmer’s $69 billion coal export contract and plans for a $1.25 million multi cargo facility at nearby Abbot Point.
Mr Lewis said savvy purchasers had been prompted to act quickly and take advantage of today’s prices ahead of anticipated population, employment and property growth.
“These home sites represent fantastic value, considering they are positioned just a short walk from the coastline, in a well established community,” he said.
“We have seen strong interest recently from local buyers looking to re-invest in the market.
“We have also had an increase in inquiry from interstate buyers who are either looking to invest or re-locate to Bowen to position themselves for one of the thousands of new jobs in the pipeline for the region,” Mr Lewis said.
“I anticipate our remaining home sites won’t last long, considering they currently represent the only opportunity for purchasers to secure new property at Whitsunday Shores.”
The Hayman land release provides large, traditional home sites ranging from 693sq m to 1123sq m along with house and land packages available from award-winning builder GJ Gardner.
GJ Gardner New Homes and Design consultant Alan Dyne had the option of selecting from a plethora of different designs to suit individual budgets and lifestyles.
“There are seven different home styles to choose from, all with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double lock-up garage,” Mr Dyne said.
“All homes include only the best fittings and finishes, including CaesarStone benchtops, top quality kitchen appliances, tiles and carpeting throughout and security screening.
“We have a house and land package to suit everyone – from young couples and retirees through to growing families – and all homes are turn-key so, purchasers can move in and start enjoying them straight away.”
GJ Gardner will soon commence work on a home in Whitsunday Shores’ new display village featuring designs created by Better Homes Queensland and Dixon Homes.
In addition, a range of new display homes will be ready to showcase to prospective purchasers during the second half of the year.
On completion Whitsunday Shores will comprise more than 1000 residential lots.
