Priced to please in Stafford
HOUSING affordability has hindered many young home buyers and first-time investors from getting a foothold in the property market.
However, the latest project from developer RLW Group, North Park Apartments at Stafford aims to address this, offering affordable and stylish studio, one and twobedroom apartments.
“We have been inundated with inquiries from young home buyers desperate to find a modern apartment close the city that they can afford,’’ sales consultant Marie Ashworth said.
“There has been a significant drop in new apartment building approvals in the past 18 months, which is expected to create an alarming undersupply of accommodation over the next two years.
“Many investors have realised this and have been quick to secure an apartment before it’s too late.”
North Park Apartments were released off-the-plan late last year with stage one almost sold out and stage two selling quickly. A limited number of studio apartments have also just been released to the market.
The development, which will eventually comprise 156 apartments, is due to commence construction in several weeks time.
Set to reinvigorate the post-war suburb of Stafford, Ms Ashworth said the project was in the heart of a suburb on the cusp of real change and growth.
The North Park Apartment sales office has just opened, so potential residents and investors can inspect the location for themselves.
“Buyers can now come and meet with the sales team on location and check out all the features and apartment finishes which is great news for everyone,” Ms Ashworth said.
The cluster of two and threestorey apartment buildings will be on the corner of Webster Road and Babarra Street, just 600 metres from Stafford City Shopping Centre which includes amenities such as public transport, restaurants, shops and cinemas.
Two established parks are closeby offering walking and bike riding tracks and sporting facilities.
