STRONG recent sales in Australand’s Runaway Lagoons community on the Gold Coast have seen overall sales top $120 million.

Now catering to an increased demand for mid-level priced stock in the community, Australand is offering a number of architecturally designed homes, set on their own private peninsula with waterfront views for under $800,000.

Prices range from $768,000 to $775,000 for a 383sq m home, offering excellent value.

The spacious Peninsula Home design reflects the gated estate’s lagoon and bushland setting in the high-growth northern Gold Coast suburb of Coombabah.

Available in the Laguna Collection and Montego Residences precincts, the doublestorey, four-bedroom plus study and rumpus room design features a tiered timber deck spanning the width of the home and extending out over the water. The design also features expansive use of floor to ceiling glass allowing cool breezes.

The main bedroom has an ensuite with a spa bath while the kitchen features European appliances and stone benchtops. Built-in cupboards in the garage create additional storage space.

Others features of the Laguna Precinct homes include a 5000litre underground rainwater tank and underground gas cylinders for cooktops and hot water.

Australand’s Queensland residential division general manager Nigel Edgar said the Peninsula Homes were the “penthouses” of the Runaway Lagoons community.

“The Peninsula Home style represents outstanding value; where else could you find a new, 383sq m architecturally designed waterfront property on the Gold Coast for under $800,000?”

“All home designs within the thriving Runaway Lagoons community feature quality and contemporary fixtures and fittings, yet have classic features intended to last for generations,” Mr Edgar said.

He added that Runaway Lagoons provided a safe and secure lifestyle along with a tranquil living environment, perfectly suited to empty nesters or young families.

“The community is in one of the best locations with a World Heritage-listed wetlands located adjacent to the development site and ideally situated in close proximity to a broad range of essential services,” he said.

The Laguna Collection has its own gated entry and adjoins the Montego Residences precinct. Both are surrounded by a 10.75-hectare saltwater lagoon and the Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area.

The Laguna Collection precinct will comprise of 51 homes to be released in stages over the next two years. Runaway Lagoons is a Community Title Development with on-site management ensuring the pristine seven hectare site is maintained to the highest standards.
