MIRVAC’S Mossvale on Manly development is leading the renaissance of Brisbane bayside suburb Wakerley.

It continues to attract a stream of lifestyle purchasers who’ve already snapped up 10 of the 13 homes in the estate’s latest release, launched in January.

First launched in 2002 and featuring more than nine hectares of green parklands and tranquil waterways, the development is only 14 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD and within minutes of Moreton Bay.

More than 370 homes have now been constructed with 130 sites awaiting development.

Current homes are available from between $627,500 and $740,000 and come with Mirvac’s lifestyle package of inclusions.

Mirvac Queensland chief executive Development, Matthew Wallace, said Mossvale on Manly had been a Brisbane property industry success story.

“Not too long ago Wakerley was a rural area and largely undiscovered by Brisbane residents, but we identified that the bayside corridor between the city and Moreton Bay provided some unique lifestyle attributes that we were confident buyers would warm to,” Mr Wallace said.

“We recognised that transportation to the city was improving by road rail, the distance to the CBD was not far and the attraction of Moreton Bay and all it offers was right on the doorstep.”

Mirvac had considerable success with its first project in the corridor, Park Hill Village and that has continued with Mossvale on Manly.

Mr Wallace said the development appealed to a wide cross section of purchasers including families, retirees, empty nesters and professionals.

He said many people relocating to the development were from the established eastern suburbs, often selling semi-renovated, older homes with high maintenance issues and swapping them for modern, architect designed, quality built homes with little maintenance in a prime location.

Mirvac has developed a number of different housing alternatives at Mossvale on Manly including the Mirvac Series homes, inspired by the celebrated Case Study Homes designed in Southern California in the mid-1940s and also the highly successful Urban Series Homes renowned for their efficient space planning and overall liveability.

The company’s team of architects and interior designers provide a variety of schemes allowing owners to customise internal and external finishes and design elements, fixtures and fittings to complete their home in style and comfort.

In addition to a range of available abodes nearing completion, purchasers can choose to create their own house and land package by selecting the block of their choice and then picking a dwelling type that best suits their needs from a number of designs available.
