THE 100th homeowners at Caboolture’s Halcyon Glades have settled into the growing community.
Bernie and Anne Sheahan (pictured) made the move from country Victoria, taking up residence at their three-bedroom Halcyon home in mid-December.
Mrs Sheahan said the warm welcome and constant social events and activities made her and her husband feel immediately at home.
“Moving interstate was a big move for us and we’ve been pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to move,” she said.
“From playing golf to walking and happy hour, there’s always something to do.
“The staff and homeowners have been nothing but lovely and we’ve already made some great friends.”
Mrs Sheahan said they had always loved the Sunshine Coast and travelled to coastline region on and off for the last 12 years.
“After a lot of research we realised Halcyon Glades was in a perfect location, near medical facilities, the beach and the town centre,” she said.
Halcyon Glades project director Marie Cone said reaching 100 homeowners was a major milestone for the community.
“Walking the streets at Halcyon Glades, there is a real sense of community here now,” she said.
“As a developer it is so gratifying to see people settling into their new homes, meeting their neighbours and establishing lasting friendships.”
Remaining homes in the Kingfisher release at Halcyon Glades are priced from $365,000.
Facilities include a swimming pool, spa, gymnasium, cinema, pickle ball court, bowling green, tennis court, recreation centre with bar, kitchen, dining facilities, library, craft and games rooms, as well as caravan and boat storage.
