JUST ONE APARTMENT FOR RESALE
One of the most popular developments in South Brisbane has one apartment left for resale after an initial 100 per cent sellout offthe-plan.
ARIA Living general manager Zeyad Imam said of the 219 one, two and three-bedroom apartments in Oxley and Stirling, there was only one left for resale, but rentals were under way with 156 apartments in the rental pool.
ARIA Property Group managing director Tim Forrester is keeping the top floor penthouse, four amalgamated units.
Mr Imam said the amenities were what set the development apart from other inner-city apartment buildings. “Aside from the rooftop space, there’s a pretty extensive barbecue, outdoor area, a big 25m pool, two components to the pool with a lap pool and a plunge pool, and a private dining room and media room that can be booked by people who live in the building,” he said.
“There’s also a first-floor library and wine cellar with lockable areas for residents, which also has a big central table for residents’ use.”
Mr Imam said the units were quite large – two-bedroom apartments have up to 94sq m of internal space. The view is a major selling point with units looking to Kangaroo Point or South Bank and side units with curved glass detail for uninterrupted views.
There are large, cantilevered balconies and the sculptural design takes its cue from the ever-changing river.
“The building is positioned north-facing and it’s quite elevated, so there are really good views down both reaches of the river, city and gardens,” Mr Imam said.
ARIA now takes on the management rights of its properties, with three buildings under internal management by ARIA.
“We’ve received a lot of positive feedback in terms of experience with the level of customer service that we’re offering people living in the building,” Mr Imam said.
“We’re trying to introduce a hotel style of service and amenity, for example, umbrellas in the lobby, newspapers on the front desk, beach towels on the rooftop and you can hire out bikes similar to the CityCycles.
“We also offer complimentary group personal training and yoga to residents.”
Oxley and Stirling will be ready for occupation early next month, just 285m from South Bank and 800m from the under construction Queen’s Wharf casino precinct.
ARIA Property Group is a privately-owned development company founded in 2003 by Tim Forrester.
Oxley and Stirling’s rooftop deck has a 25m pool with a lap pool, a plunge pool and extensive city views from South Brisbane.
