Demand high for light and airy designs
Hamptons-style homes are on the rise in Queensland with home buyers taking their inspiration from the American east coast
Stockland general manager of residential Queensland, Kingsley Andrew, said the developer was seeing a spike in interest for Hamptons-style homes in its Queensland residential communities.
“The demand has been so strong that we’ve worked with our builder partners to feature Hamptons-style homes in the display villages of our Newport, Aura and Sovereign Pocket communities, so buyers can come along and see the quality and beauty of a Hamptons home up close,” Mr Andrew said.
The popularity of the Hamptons-style home sees a return to the more traditional, postcard-pretty houses symbolic of beachside living in Queensland.
“Buyers have seen the beauty of the older Queenslander homes being renovated in Hamptons-style in South East Queensland and they want to achieve the same style of elegant home without the hassle of a renovation,” Mr Andrew said.
“Not only that, but building a brand new home means buyers can design the home that’s right for them without having to work around existing features of an older house that may not suit their requirements.”
The trend is proving to be a popular style at The Elements, an exciting new village at the Sunshine Coast’s Aura community.
“These exquisite homes blend indoor and outdoor living seamlessly, making them a perfect fit for a tranquil setting like The Elements,” Mr Andrew said.
“We’re also seeing a lot of interest in the Aston Milan Hamptons display home at our waterside Newport community as buyers seek a light, airy home to suit their coastal lifestyle.”
