DREAM BECOMES REALITY
A major residential land developer has launched a campaign to help nervous buyers realise their great Australian dream.
The month-long “40 Under $400,000” promotion, which ends on November 3, is being run by Peet Limited and was designed to challenge price fears in the new home market.
Peet’s chief executive and managing director, Brendan Gore, said the company wanted to show there was still a big choice in quality, affordable homes in southeast Queensland.
“People are hearing a lot about escalating property prices and are really worried about being priced out of the market,” he said.
“A lot of people have started to give up on their dreams, but they just need to look a little more closely at the new product and new communities that are available.
“We want to reassure them that it isn’t too late. It is still very possible to buy an attractive family home that’s close to amenities and in an area with good investment potential for under the magic $400,000.”
Peet has 40 house and land packages under $400,000 in growth areas near Ipswich, Caboolture and Logan. Prices start from $295,000 with the First Home Owners’ Grant. The packages feature the latest designs from brand-name builders, and most are on new lots that have not been released.
“Each house and land package includes free front landscaping and fencing,” Mr Gore said.
At the new satellite city of Flagstone, halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Peet is offering more than 15 new packages.
The latest designs from nine leading builders have been paired with the first lots in a brand-new neighbourhood close to the existing primary and high school and are a short walk from the future city centre.
They are on the doorstep of the $12 million Flagstone Central Park, which is under construction and will feature recreation facilities including a giant playground.
This Riverton by Simonds Homes, available at Eden’s Crossing, is just one of the homes available as part of Peet’s 40 under $400,000 campaign.
