COASTING ALONG BY THE BAY
A developer took a punt when constructing its latest apartment project.
Instead of selling off-the-plan, and therefore ensuring sales before development started, DDS Property Trust had faith in their product and built the 47 apartment complex anyway.
And the unusual marketing approach is yielding results, with four sales already recorded at Point View Residences in Wynnum. Marketing agent Chris Jones, of Savills, said
Point View’s spacious, open and contemporary residences had to be seen to be appreciated.
“Off-the-plan sales work better for investors rather than owner-occupiers who want to see and feel the living spaces for themselves,” he said. “You can’t really grasp the panoramic bay and island views and the atmosphere of airy and breezy interiors until you’re in an apartment. DDS realised that and held off on marketing Point View until prospective buyers could see for themselves the modern coastal lifestyle that’s on offer here.”
Just metres from the foreshore, Point View overlooks Greene Park and Wynnum Creek, and is minutes from shops, cafes, restaurants and Wynnum North Train Station.
Mr Jones said the low maintenance, contemporary apartments made the most of
Point View’s breezy bayside location. “The residences can be opened up to the cooling sea breezes, reducing reliance on airconditioning in the warmer months,” he said.
“It’s perfect for those seeking a coastal lifestyle while still being just 14km from Brisbane’s CBD.
“And the bonus is that the apartments are complete and ready to be moved into.”
Most Point View apartments boast water views, while all have high ceilings, spacious, open-plan, tiled living areas flowing into a large private terrace, luxury fixtures, fittings and cabinetry, airconditioning, basement parking, video intercom security and lift access to all floors. Residents also have access to a private pool and an entertainment courtyard.
The breezy interiors of Point View Residences in Wynnum open up to panoramic Moreton Bay and island views.
