ILLUMINA LIGHTS THE WAY
A residential tower at Toowong has proven popular with foreign investors, with only eight of the 221 apartments still on the market.
Construction of the $130 million Illumina tower is expected to be completed early in the new year, with the first residents expected to move in by March.
Property Solutions sales and marketing manager Craig Wright said the sales achieved to date were divided between locals, who were predominantly owner-occupiers, and offshore purchasers.
Mr Wright said Property Solutions anticipated a low-level ratio of finance provisions for foreign buyers with the project’s forthcoming settlement phase in the face of tighter lending conditions.
“We have put in place steps to ensure all buyers have introductions to finance providers, bank and non-bank lenders,” he said.
“This includes making available alternative locally-based sources of finance for our foreign buyers.”
The one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses within Illumina offer mountain, city and river views.
Contractor Hutchinson Builders recently reached its 21st and top level, with internal fitouts the next and final phase of construction.
Each of Illumina’s apartments incorporates contemporary colour palettes, quality fittings and fixtures, large open-plan living areas, high ceilings and generous balconies.
Residents have access to an expansive recreational sky deck on level 21 with an infinity-edge pool, entertaining spaces, open-air cinema and spectacular city views.
A retail precinct with space for a cafe, deli and boutiques will be at street level.
“Everything you need or want is at your doorstep,” Mr Wright said.
