HOME SALES FLOURISH
$200 MILLION MASTERPLANNED COMMUNITY SO POPULAR
Listed developer Villa World has fast-tracked construction at its $200 million masterplanned community The Meadows at Strathpine, following a sales surge which has seen 90 per cent of stage one sold.
Following the launch of stage one late last year, Villa World has experienced a flurry of sales to owner occupiers which has seen the developer bring forward construction on stage two. Villa World development manager Craig Morgan said stage two had already gained strong momentum.
“With 90 per cent of stage one already sold, we’ve had to bring the construction of stage two forward to meet demand and we’ve already secured a number of sales across the second stage,” Mr Morgan said.
“A majority of sales have been to owneroccupiers who have been drawn to the lifestyle on offer and the opportunity to live within a like-minded community.”
Mr Morgan said The Meadows’ location between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast had provided the perfect middle-ground for buyers who were looking for spacious homes and an active lifestyle whilst still being in an accessible location.
Adding to the lifestyle aspect on offer at The Meadows, Villa World is set to introduce its Active8 concept to the community with the unveiling of the latest park in October.
As part of the Active8 concept, The Meadows will promote active and healthy living within the community, featuring parks, walking, running and cycling tracks, and access to active and passive recreation zones.
“We’re excited to unveil the park in October,” Mr Morgan said.
“There will be something for the whole family – ample space for little ones to play, recreation zones for all ages and plenty of opportunities to socialise and entertain with our barbecue areas.”
The Meadows will comprise 400 homes flanked by riverside parklands courtesy of its location on the North Pine River.
Houses at The Meadows, to be developed in 10 stages, will be priced from $459,500, with three and four-bedroom homes available.
