WHEN IT’S TIME FOR A ‘SKY HOME’
After more than 40 years living in their Paddington home, Audrey and Bill Wright (pictured above right) have made the brave decision to buy off the plan and move into a new apartment building.
Mrs Wright said before Christmas last year they decided to purchase into one of Toowong’s newest communities Banc at 527 Coronation Drive, Toowong.
“The position was very exciting with river views and close to all the amenities,” she said.
“Plus the fact that it’s a very beautiful looking building architecturally, I feel it’s quite different to many others.”
Mrs Wright said they opted for “sky home’’ and purchased the three-bedroom apartment which will come with two bathrooms, a powder room, living zones and laundry.
“It’s got everything you need, and lots and lots of storage space,’’ she said.
“They’ve customised it (the fittings and fixtures) to our needs, which is wonderful.”
When asked if she was nervous about making a new move, Mrs Wright said it was time to move on.
“We’re both very excited about it actually because our family are all around the place and the house is just a little bit too big now,” she said. “It is sad to be leaving some of the people, they’re very nice people... but we’re actually very excited. That might sound a bit strange, but you move on.”
Every apartment in Banc has a river view and the luxury of an individual wine fridge in the wine cellar. The complex has a heated pool, barbecue and recreation areas.
Banc on Coronation Drive, Toowong, is a luxury development with river views and is close to all amenities.
