When it comes to retirement, there’s always been a conflict between achieving that slice of paradise and staying close to your friends and loved ones.

The Terraces at Forest Lake is like living in a secluded rainforest resort while being close to major hubs in southeast Queensland. It’s the perfect balance, according to Lendlease Retirement Living managing director Tony Randello.

“The Terraces offer a spectacular location to relax and live, while allowing residents close proximity to the city,” Mr Randello said. “It’s a tropical resort in an urban location.”

The resort features amenities for residents including communal areas, a leisure centre with a cafe, spa and pool, and an outdoor entertainment area for any occasion.

Homes at The Terraces are available in twobedroom (from $299,000) and threebedroom (from $350,000) designs, which Mr Randello said were styled to maximise luxury and minimise maintenance.

He said the resort also aimed to offer a

welcoming community through events such as the Spring Festival, being held across the country at Lendlease’s retirement centres.

“We’re passionate about improving the wellbeing of our residents and supporting a strong sense of community,” he said.

“The Spring Festival provides the opportunity for the entire community to come together, try something different, meet new people and have a wonderful time.”

Locally, the Spring Festival will be held at Forest Lake on September 12.
