Thir­teen wa­ter­front vil­las will be con­structed as part of the $225 mil­lion Cova com­mu­nity on the Gold Coast’s Hope Is­land.

Called Cova Boathouse Vil­las, de­vel­oper Frasers Prop­erty Aus­tralia Queens­land gen­eral manager for res­i­den­tial Cameron Leg­gatt said the wa­ter­front prop­er­ties were ex­pected to “cap­ture the mar­ket’s at­ten­tion”.

“Buy­ers are look­ing for pris­tine views paired with the ul­ti­mate wa­ter­front life­style and as such the Cova Boathouse Vil­las have been ar­chi­tec­turally de­signed by Roth­elow­man with the end cus­tomer in mind,” he said.

The 13 vil­las will each have three bed­rooms plus a multi-pur­pose room, two bath­rooms and a pow­der room, plus a sin­gle or dou­ble garage, with two floor plans to choose from. Each villa comes with a cov­ered alfresco area and ducted re­verse cy­cle air­con­di­tion­ing through­out. There is also the pro­vi­sion for so­lar pan­els, satel­lite tele­vi­sion and the NBN.

Mr Leg­gatt said the Cova Boathouse Vil­las were be­ing fast-tracked fol­low­ing the sell out of their 15 Cova Prom­e­nade Wa­ter­front Vil­las, which are un­der con­struc­tion.

“Pur­chasers can ex­pect to see lux­u­ri­ous yet func­tional kitchens fea­tur­ing a 900mm Miele gas cook­top and 600mm wall oven, with a full kitchen dis­play avail­able for view­ing within the Cova sales and dis­play cen­tre,” he said.

“Ex­pan­sive glaz­ing max­imises the sweep­ing ma­rina views, of­fer­ing a smooth tran­si­tion from in­door to out­door liv­ing, with se­cure ac­cess con­nect­ing res­i­dents to Cova’s net­work of walk­ways.”

Cova is a mas­ter­planned com­mu­nity cur­rently un­der staged con­struc­tion on Hope Is­land, and within easy reach of The Broad­wa­ter.

Res­i­dents-only fa­cil­i­ties in­clude a 2.6ha ma­rina with board­walk prom­e­nade, and Club Cova, which has a lap pool, gym, bar­be­cues and a kitchen with func­tion room.

The $1 mil­lion Cova Boathouse de­vel­op­ment is due for com­ple­tion early next year.

The Cova Boathouse vil­las will sit along­side the new recre­ational club, which will have a re­lax­ation pool, large bar­be­cue area, a pri­vate din­ing room, mul­ti­pur­pose/theatre room, a fully equipped kitchen and of­fice space with Wi-Fi con­nec­tion.

Own­ers of Cova Boathouse vil­las will also re­ceive the op­por­tu­nity to pur­chase a pri­vate ma­rina berth to com­ple­ment their new wa­ter­front life­style.

Boathouse Vil­las are priced from $599,000, with villa and ma­rina pack­ages start­ing at $635,750.
