Volvo has installed a tow hook in the front bumper that is rated to pull a hefty 32 tonnes.

The front bumper is a three‒piece design, so you can remove and replace one piece should it cop damage, and it is made from thick steel.

Volvo says the bumper is extremely robust, but it has also been designed to limit damage to cars in the case of a crash.

The headlights have steel grilles designed to prevent damage to the lenses.
