A CHAPEL Hill home which had not been of­fered for sale for 24 years has sold un­der the ham­mer for $1.222 mil­lion

The home on Tris­ta­nia Rd, Chapel Hill, sits on 1ha (2.5 acres) of land, ac­cord­ing to mar­ket­ing agent Michelle McLeod of Ray White.

Seven par­ties reg­is­tered to bid on the prop­erty with bid­ding start­ing at $800,000. The home was placed on the mar­ket at $1.21 mil­lion with a fam­ily from Fig Tree Pocket buy­ing it un­der the ham­mer for $1.222 mil­lion.

It was pre­vi­ously owned by a doc­tor who was re­lo­cat­ing to Syd­ney.
