A CHAPEL Hill home which had not been offered for sale for 24 years has sold under the hammer for $1.222 million
The home on Tristania Rd, Chapel Hill, sits on 1ha (2.5 acres) of land, according to marketing agent Michelle McLeod of Ray White.
Seven parties registered to bid on the property with bidding starting at $800,000. The home was placed on the market at $1.21 million with a family from Fig Tree Pocket buying it under the hammer for $1.222 million.
It was previously owned by a doctor who was relocating to Sydney.
