A HOME which be­longed to Gold Coast lux­ury builder Michael Eas­ton has been sold at auc­tion for $1.98 mil­lion.

Mar­ket­ing agent Chris Moyer of Pro­fes­sion­als Ver­tullo said he was ap­pointed to sell the prop­erty on be­half of a bank.

There were 10 reg­is­tered bid­ders for the Royal Al­bert Crescent house at Sov­er­eign Is­land, but only half of them ac­tu­ally bid.

The house has five bed­rooms and six bath­rooms plus 20m of wa­ter frontage, a sauna and a lap pool.

Two of Mr Eas­ton’s com­pa­nies – Michael Eas­ton Homes and ME Con­struc­tions – are in the process of be­ing wound up by liq­uida­tors from Vin­cents Char­tered Ac­coun­tants.
