A HOME which belonged to Gold Coast luxury builder Michael Easton has been sold at auction for $1.98 million.
Marketing agent Chris Moyer of Professionals Vertullo said he was appointed to sell the property on behalf of a bank.
There were 10 registered bidders for the Royal Albert Crescent house at Sovereign Island, but only half of them actually bid.
The house has five bedrooms and six bathrooms plus 20m of water frontage, a sauna and a lap pool.
Two of Mr Easton’s companies – Michael Easton Homes and ME Constructions – are in the process of being wound up by liquidators from Vincents Chartered Accountants.
